Day Out with Thomas

We had the most amazing trip to Union, Illinois this weekend!  We went to visit our friend, Thomas the Tank Engine!  These days Anthony is into ANYTHING with wheels... cars, planes, trains, tractors... You name it, he wants to know how it works!

The Illinois Train Museum puts on a great time at the "Day Out With Thomas" Event.  Anthony took his very first (and very slllll-ow) ride on the big, blue train.  We also had a chance to admire 1920's freight cars, trolley cars, sleeper cars.  Louie and I both agree this will have to become our end-of-summer tradition.

It was a fabulous weekend before I make my big return to work on Monday!
