The world of Facebook and "blogging" has made sharing ideas and moments easier, and more of a fun way to catch up with those long, lost friends you don't ever really speak with... but you still care what might be going on with them...
So, why didn't I start blogging sooner? No, it wasn't that I didn't want to share all neat things that Louie, Anthony, and I were doing... Mainly, it was because we didn't sleep the first 15 months of Anthony's life. Literally.
Anthony has been the most wonderful, amazing, incredible, and worthwhile addition to my life. The love I have for him is not explainable in words or actions. But, I'll be honest... he wasn't an easy baby. I didn't have time to be wordy, and throw some nifty jargon at everyone. I barely had time to eat, shower, or even think! =) And, yes, I somehow managed to go back to work when he was 13 weeks old... Now that was a reality check! I don't think I ever felt more proud of myself than when I was finally able to say, "I have a baby, and I'm a working Mom". You don't quite realize what it entails until you're there!
But, enough of the past. Here I am... Two years later... Ready to partake in your little world. We just celebrated Anthony's second birthday... and guess what he got? Ear tubes!!
Yep! We finally had enough of the random 103 fevers, up-all-night screaming, and runny noses. Fingers crossed, we WILL finish the rest of the winter ear-infection free!
This weekend we are looking forward to celebrating with the Grandma's and Grandpa's, and Anthony's aunts and uncles. A small family gathering to celebrate the little boy that we all love so very much. I'm looking forward to posting pictures on my little piece of the web!
